In the „Life is Strage“ prequel, „Before the Storm“, there’s a deleted scene, where Chloe gets to ride with her dad one more time, just when he’s about to pick up Mom from the grocery store, there’s a country song playing in the background. The fire in the forest and everything that followed left aside, it did have a relaxing effect on yours truly, I actually began to enjoy country music, old and new alike. I mean, when it comes to pouring your heart out, who’s looking at the instruments you use to bring it forth?

Most of the tracks are pretty „new“ with the big „Dueling Banjos“ exception, because I couldn’t help myself and because „Deliverance“ in itself was looking, at the time of this show’s production, as a plausible scenario. Luckily, art is above all that and therefore remains, as good a means of communication as any.
