its all Bhagavadgita TODAY ……. Reading the first Chapter of THE PHILOSOPHY of the Bhagavadgita by Swami Krishnanada.
…….. and a little bit about Friday the 13th
following found on A SITE CALLED THE VENUS BLUEPRINT…
Friday 13th is Venus Day. Named for the Norse goddess Freyja, this is the fifth day of the week associated with the Venus cycle and its five orbital conjunctions with the Earth. The number 13 is also associated with Venus as this is the number of orbits around the sun that Venus makes during this cycle.
The western belief that this day is unlucky began in the 19th century, probably due to the story about the Knights Templars being hunted down and murdered on Friday 13, 1307 by the Roman Church. However, the choice of this date by the Church to persecute the wisdom keepers of the Temple of Jerusalem is likely due to the ancient association of Venus with harmonic incommensurability.
Among other things, the Templars knew the orbital „rose line“ pattern of Venus forms golden ratios in its crossings. This ratio is a constant of nature and long been known to have the acoustical effect of damping harmonic resonance. Friday 13th is thus symbolic of an anti-harmonious day.
However, this damping action of the golden ratio is also the very thing that prevents over-resonance in nature and enables atoms to bond, planets to form and amino acids to stick together into living organisms. Friday 13th could just as well be considered „coherence day.“
So there you have it. Don’t be afraid. Its COHERENCE DAY TODAY! How beautiful.
“The Bhagavad-Gita is the most systematic statement of spiritual evolution of endowing value to mankind. It is one of the most clear and comprehensive summaries of perennial philosophy ever revealed; hence its enduring value is subject not only to India
but to all of humanity.” ― Aldous Huxley
The Bhagavadgita occurs in the Bhishma Parva of the Mahabharata. Placed in the exciting context of an imminent war between cousins descending from a common ancestry, the Gospel purports to dramatise the perpetual conflict of cosmic forces which, on the one hand, gravitate towards the supreme Absolute, and on the other, rush to immolate themselves in the diversity of names, forms and the processes of the phenomenal universe.
The Eighteen Chapters of the Gita represent in a majestic manner, the rungs in the ladder of Yoga, the stages of the ascent of consciousness to the culmination of the purpose of all evolution, the realization of the Great Goal of life.
All this underlined by carefully curated world contemporary tunes, that currently accompany my yoga practice … todays show brings you lullabies, stories, hymns, poetry, music to our ears by Beautiful Chorus, In Credo, Joni Fatora, MartiNikko&DJ Drez, Bluetech, Sidestepper, Depech Mode by Kruder & Dorfmeister, Sven Van Hees, Chat Baker, Levitation, Mihai Toma, Clem Leek….
