Strange Radio is a space of transmission – mixing radio waves and memory. Chaos will be our partner, along with recordings from the oldest sound archive in the world, field recordings of Vienna, a choir or two, live phone callers, maybe a remote broadcast from a place my father hid underground during World War 2, a new Signum sensor (with all kinds of mics, including one that picks up the inaudible electromagnetic spectrum.) Can a mic pick up memories that aren’t your own? Strange Radio is a space of receiving, transmitting, disarming, dispersing, connecting, and I hope mending, mending!
