In the province of Salzburg there is a literature festival called „Rauriser Literaturtage”. There are many more and less known writers there who read their texts on several stages. We recorded readings of: Peter Blaikner – writer (especially for theatre for children), songwriter and cabaret artist; Karl-Markus Gauß – essayist, critic and publisher of the magazine „Literatur und Kritik", Peter Stephan Jungk – who lived in Los Angeles, Vienna, Jerusalem and Paris, writes short stories, novels, essays, radio plays, scripts, works as translator and publisher, Franzobel – young Austrian author, Urs Widmer – swiss author. These recordings we elaborated to a radio program. The topic of Rauriser Literaturtage, which took place from March 30th until April 3rd, was “Worte und Orte” (what means words and places), so the writers were reading texts about places, that are important for them.
