“Schau nicht weg” ist der Titel einer Ausstellung im Landesdienstleistungszentrum Linz, dem eine Podiumsdiskussion vorausgegangen ist. Ein Mitschnitt der Diskussion.

„Schau nicht weg! – Bilder gegen Diskriminierung und Intoleranz in der österreichischen Gesellschaft“.

Ziel ist es, anhand von „Intoleranzbildern“ sowie einer gemeinsamen Diskussion auf die Problematik der Diskriminierung hinsichtlich bestimmter Teile der Gesellschaft aufmerksam zu machen, um so gemeinsam Lösungen entwickeln zu können.

Dabei soll gezeigt werden, dass Intoleranz und Vorurteile nach wie vor eine hemmende Funktion in der Zielsetzung einer sich gegenseitig wertschätzenden pluralistischen Gesellschaft darstellen und Integration in das bestehende gesellschaftliche System für die betroffenen Menschen erschweren.

This is the case of an Asylum seeker from Nigeria who has lived in austria for 6 years without any criminal records. and spent all these years selling the local Magazine in front of Thallia at Landstrasse n Linz , at all weather. Actually he is an example of integration but the system did not allow him to stay unfortunately.
